Reins of Life, Inc.

Reins of Life, Inc. (ROL) is a transformative 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to empowering individuals of all ages and abilities through Equine-Assisted Services (EAS). Since 1978, ROL has been a Premier Accredited Center by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Int’l), serving over 400 participants monthly with the support of 400 weekly volunteers at its South Bend and Michigan City locations. Offering therapeutic riding, interactive vaulting, therapeutic carriage driving, and unmounted programs, ROL tailors its services to individuals with diverse physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges, including autism, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and more. Participants thrive in ROL’s enriching farm environment, building strength, balance, emotional regulation, and confidence through meaningful interactions with horses, ponies, and donkeys. By creating opportunities for growth and independence, ROL empowers participants to achieve their goals and enrich their lives beyond the arena.
