English as a Second Language & Adult Education Classes
Michigan City: The goal of the ESL program is to enable English language learners to become competent in the understanding, reading, listening, speaking, and writing of the English language through the development of literacy and academic skills in preparation for the High School Equivalency Exam. Classes are taught 5pm-8pm at AK Smith, Michigan City on Monday, In LaPorte at Boston Middle School on Wednesday, and at St Joseph's Church on Thursday.
La Porte: Adult Education Classes: In partnership with the La Porte County Career and Technical Center, The La Porte Community School Corporation offers Adult Basic Education (HSE/GED).
