General Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 Years Old
Must have a Valid Driver's License
Must have Reliable Transportation
Must have a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Must be in Good Physical Shape
Must be Drug Free
The Northwest Indiana State Building & Construction Trades Council is an independent, umbrella, labor organization representing Northwest Indiana's construction unions and their skilled members. The Indiana Plan is a pre-apprenticeship training program sponsored by the Indiana State Building Trades. The mission of the Indiana Plan is to provide basic construction awareness training to minorities and women in an effort to increase the percentages of minorities and women working in the construction industry.
