LaPorte County Symphony Orchestra

The La Porte County Symphony Orchestra (LCSO) is a dynamic and professional ensemble based in Northwest Indiana, celebrating over 50 years of enriching the local arts scene. With 60 talented musicians, LCSO serves a diverse audience across La Porte County and beyond, including parts of Southwest Michigan.

The orchestra's season features four subscription concerts that blend classical and pops music, alongside signature events like the Hoosier Star gala fundraiser and the festive Holiday at the Pops. A cornerstone of their mission is educational outreach, highlighted by annual Children’s Educational Concerts that engage over 6,000 students from local schools and community organizations. Recognized nationally for its excellence, LCSO plays a vital role in fostering musical appreciation and providing cultural access to the region.
