Girls on the Run Northwest Indiana

Girls on the Run is a program designed to empower young girls, typically in grades 3 to 8, through a combination of physical activity and life skills training. The program uses running as a means to build confidence, resilience, and healthy habits while fostering a sense of community among participants. Over the course of a 10-week curriculum, girls engage in lessons that cover topics such as teamwork, self-esteem, and goal-setting, culminating in a celebratory 5K event. The program is evidence-based and aims to promote overall well-being, encouraging girls to be strong, confident, and active members of their communities.
